I&C Presents

I&C Jewelers is very excited to introduce our newest vendor…Shannon Koszyk Jewelry

“Fortune favors the bold” — a fitting motto for Seattle-based jewelry designer Shannon Koszyk. One look at her work and it becomes instantly clear these are heritage pieces, the kind passed down from mother to daughter, weighty, timeless and inspired by history.

After graduating from Los Angeles’ FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) and honing her skills with an internship at Elle Magazine Shannon recognized that working with designers & merchandising was her calling. She realized that dream with the opening of her boutique Enexile in Seattle of 1999. Enexile became a Seattle favorite garnering the accolade of “Best Seattle Boutique” in 2000.

The desire to further develop her skills and design herself proved to be the guiding force when she opened Shannon Koszyk Jewelry in 2007. Each piece meticulously hand crafted, Shannon labored to find the perfect balance between spirituality and elegance, boldness & grace. What she created hit the mark with celebrities and customers alike and within a year the company was in stores nationwide. As her motto tells us, indeed “Fortune favors the bold”.

All jewelry is made by hand using natural materials and is constructed in house in her Seattle studio. All materials are purchased domestically and are ethically sourced._MG_9527-DONE-sm IMG_3013 LM_SK_product-0770

Bye Bye Summer

We were so pleased with the feedback we received from the Jewelry Conference at the Galleria earlier this month. Thank you for all the well-wishes and old friends that came by to wish us your best. We truly appreciate your sentiments!

We are thrilled to be in Woodstock and be part of the local jewelry scene—by focusing one-on-one with our clients we’re happy and able to sit down and consult with each of our customers in order to create the ideal individual jewelry experience.

Jewelry has and will always be–to those that know better—an especially fabulous and personal part of who we are.  How we wear our jewelry, what we choose to showcase and our personal expressions are important elements in our quest for the best jewelry experience.  Whether you are a minimalist or a fashionista, I&C Jewelers is excited to work with you to customize your best look.

The other day, a 131.5 carat diamond was discovered in Angola.  and we’re thrilled about that!  What fun it would be to create a custom piece from that find!

Let us know your thoughts as we come into the autumn season… what are you looking forward to wearing in September and October?

I&C Exhibiting at The Atlanta Jewelry Show

Ian and Catherine are excited to be exhibiting at The Atlanta Jewelry Show this weekend, August 10-13 at the Cobb Galleria Center.  This Show (SJTA)  has been working with jewelers from the Southeast region for more than 60 years. With more than 500 booths on display, independent jewelers from around the Southeast gather in one place to showcase their best.

At booth 1147, I&C Jewelers will display as Elemental Gem, the name given to its wholesale gem business which delivers its clients many fine natural gemstones mined in Sri Lanka by Ian Brown himself.

Show hours are Saturday 10-6, Sunday 10-6 and Monday 10-3.  The Keynote address will be given by Kelly Swanson of Swanson Speaks and promises to be a “motivating program by an award-winning storyteller, comedian and author.”

Cherokee Ledger features I&C Jewelers

Check out this wonderful article by Janet Pelletier in the July 4th issue of the Cherokee Ledger!

Brown Family Jeweler Calls Woodstock Home

It’s not uncommon for Ian Brown to make housecalls, toting jewelry boxes filled with blue sapphires, rubies and other gemstones.
That personalized service is something that’s in his blood.

Brown, the owner of I&C Jewelers, which opened last year in the House & Garden Boutique in downtown Woodstock, comes from the Brown & Co. Jewelers family. His father, Frank Brown founded Brown & Co., which has locations in Roswell and Buckhead, in 1974. The younger Brown served as vice president, head appraiser and director of sales before deciding to start out on his own in Cherokee County. (click below to read entire article)

Ians favorite Stone from His Sri Lankan Adventure

Padparadscha Sapphire, 3.11 cts, 7.82 x 6.87mm, No Heat, Extra Fine AAAAA Grade.  This is a true “Cabinet Quality” gem.  True Padparadscha displays peach and red colors with a undertones of pink. This has been my favorite stone of the journey.  In a high end retail environment with a stable of willing and capable buyers, the asking price would be conservatively $60,000 to $80,000.  Some retailers would put a “fine art” price on it and ask whatever astronomical amount they desired.  Wholesale $37,588 wire transfer price
